 Sensei Ian Womersley has trained in Martial Arts for over 30 years and holds Dan grades in both Traditional Karate and Kickboxing. There can only be a few Instructors in the UK with this mans background in to martial arts. Ian Womersley holds Dan grades in Judo, Aikido,Wado-Ryu, and Kickboxing and he has also spent many years has a amateur boxer.
He has over the past few years made a name for himself for his excellent seminars that he does on: Power breaking, Pressure Points. He is also a qualified instructor on C.S Spray and the PR 24 Baton ( Tongfa) a Empty hand instructor, a P.D.M. Instructor, and a Destruction / Demolition specialist. Not forgetting his many world records for breaking roof tiles with is bear hands, 500 in 25.6 Seconds / 1000 in 1 minute 10 seconds the list go on and on. |
After many years fighting on the open circuits of which he still does, Ian along with his partner Debbie Hicks herself a W.K.A British & World champion, run a very successful kickboxing club in Hemsworth, West Yorkshire. Over the year they have trained and couched many a student to grand championship places from all the top tournaments. Also British champions, European Irish open champions, and not forgetting last years W.K.A 2001 world championships. Were they came home with a team full of silver and bronze medalist. |
